Madison

We had a great time in Madison last week! Thank you to all of the parent chaperones who came with us! The kids really enjoyed the tour. Here are a couple of pictures from the day at the Capitol and the Historical Society:

We have been working on fractions and decimals in math class. The chapter 7 test will be next week Tuesday or Wednesday.

In social studies, we just finished learning about Wisconsin and the Civil War. Now, we are learning about industries in Wisconsin. Our Madison field trip will be on April 23.

Next week, Wednesday, we are going to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. It is a short field trip. We will be back before lunch.

In language arts, we are working on prefixes, root words, and suffixes. The students are continuing to enjoy the listening to reading station as well.
