Happy Holidays!

We have had quite an exciting week, and it's not over yet! On Tuesday, our class attended the 5th and 6th grade band and orchestra concert in the afternoon. On Wednesday, David's grandmother came in to read to us. She has written several children's poetry books. The class really enjoyed listening to the poems about dogs and life lessons. Today (Thursday), the 4th grade is having a pizza party during lunch. Our grade level had the most students and families to attend the Run/Walk in October, so the PTO is sponsoring this party for us! Tomorrow (Friday) is a half day of school. The students leave at 11:20. We are planning to have hot chocolate and read the winter stories they have written. Our class also earned extra roller skating time in phy ed. for being so cooperative during their skating unit. It's easy to see that the children are looking forward to winter break next week. I hope you all enjoy spending this time with your families.
